A statement is a telling sentence. It ends with a period or full stop (.).
A question is an asking sentence. It ends with a question mark (?).

This activity introduces children to the difference between telling and asking sentences. When do sentences end with a period or full stop? When do sentences end with a question mark? How can you tell the difference? This activity has also been designed for handwriting practice.
